The rules are
simple? Well there are none except :
We don't like swearing as some of our users are or have youngsters
who listen in.
No BOTS.
SOP's are the only people allowed to use friends protection for DeOPing / Kicking / Banning people.
DO NOT use any war-Scripts on any of the HarryHomers channels.
There is to be NO DeOPing or Kicking without good reason or unless someone requests it.
If there is your OP's status will be revoked for 1 week the first time and 2 weeks the
second time, if it happens again within a reasonable time your OP status will be
withdrawn.
Testing of scripts are allowed on #HarryTech as long as everyone on
the channel is informed and agree to there use.
Try to keep all Techie questions to #HarryTech
You should also read the general comments on using IRC.
If you want AOP status to learn about IRC just ask. You may be lucky
or you may not. If you are you will be asked to go to #HarryTech
with one or more AOP's / SOP's, who will be able to help you.
To get AOP permanently you should be a regular on the channel
for some time, also you must have shown some 'common sense' and ' discretion'. Also you must be proficient in the use of the IRC client that you use, as well as the usage of the network Services ie. Chanserv, Nickserv and memoserv.
To become a Voice or AOP you Must Read This
If anyone who has been BANNED wants to come back on to any of the channels see
HERE.
At times it may be necessary to set the LOCKTOPIC command on any of the
channels. This will prevent anyone without the channel password from
changing the topic, i.e. SOP's and co-founders.
Normally AOP's can change topic at a whim, and this in general won't change,
however at times it may be necessary to ensure that the channel
carries a specific topic for a temporary period, to pass information to
other members not online at the time, etc.
If this is the case, then the command will be SET.
As already noted in AOP rules, at times we may have to
SECUREOPS on channel.
This will result in AOP's not being able to OP people in the access list, whom chanserv
hasn't recognized. For example, when someone has been de-opped for kicking another
member without good reason, and are de-opped for one week.
If secureops is set, it will again be on a temporary basis.
As a side note - we all like to hear sounds, but, we prefer
" .wav "
format please.
