The Beyond I.R.C. Network.
Their are quiet a few server's
on the Beyondirc
network, but they all have three thing's in common, they have
Chanserv, Nickserv and Noteserv. These are collectively know as Services.
Chanserv look's after the channel detail's i.e.
a) Who is the channel founder.
b) When the channel was formed.
c) What the topic of the channel is.
d) A description of the channel.
e) A list of who has access to the channel.
f) Keeps track of all the AKICK's in force on the channel.
Nickserv look's after all the Nick detail's of all
registered nick's i.e.
a) The nick name.
b) Who own's the nick.
c) When the nick was registered.
d) The last time that nick was seen on Beyondirc.
e) The e-mail address of the holder.
f) The sex of the holder.
g) The real name of the holder.
h) If the holder has identified to nickserv or not.
Noteserv allow's you to leave other user's on Beyondirc
small message's when they are not on the Network.
They are stored on the Network database until the user is seen and then he/she is
informed they have message's waiting for them.
You should also know that on BeyondIRC if anyone on your ISP get`s K-Lined or G-Lined. That means they cannot get on to any of the server`s. You also cannot get on. This is because the rule they enforce is that the offernders ISP get`s Banned.
