This will list all the basic command`s that are available to you.
/MSG IMSERV BUDDIES
ie. /msg imserv buddies add_permit screenname[,screenname2,...,screennameN]
- Add screenname (possibly multiple screenname) to your permit list, removing
from deny list.
NOTE: For the commands that take screenname[,screenname2,...screennameN] as a parameter, you must have only commas between the screennames.
/MSG IMSERV CHAT
ie. /msg imserv chat join chat_name - Create/join a chatroom called chat_name.
/MSG IMSERV CREDITS
ie. /msg imserv credits This lists some people who had some thing to do with
the program.
/MSG IMSERV MISC
ie .msg imserv misc loglevel newlevel - Sets the logging level for your connection.
newlevel should be a number between 0 and 10. Higher numbers give you more information.
/MSG IMSERV SET
ie. /msg imserv set nicklen (limit) - If limit is non-zero, when an AIM user
who has a nickname longer than the limit talks to you, you will receive a warning
containing the full nickname of the sender. A limit of zero (the default setting)
turns this off. This setting is preserved across AIM sessions and even IMIRC
servers.
IMServ also has a Help command. This is :-
/MSG IMSERV HELP
NOTE: Remove all spaces from screennames (also referred to as nicknames or nicks)
before using in any IMIRC command or operation. nick is the AIM nick, not the
IRC one created by prepending AIM
To send an IM to someone whose screenname is SomeDude, send an IRC message
to AIM-SomeDude.
That person must be on your buddylist, have sent you an IM recently, or be added
to IRC via the add command.
You need an AOL Instant Messenger account to use IMIRC.
