MemoServ Command's.
MemoServ on AltNet is used so you can send Memo's / message's
to other user's who are not on the same channel as you or are not on the
AltNet Network at all.
To be able to send a Memo to some one, yours and their Nick has to
be Registered.
The user who you send the Memo too is informed when they join the
AltNet Network or change to the Nick that you have sent the memo to, that they have Memo's waiting for them.
Some of MemoServ's commands:-
/MSG MEMOSERV LIST
This list all the Memo's that you have waiting for you in numbered order.
/MSG MEMOSERV LIST NEW
This will list all the New Memo`s that are waiting for you, since you last Listed your Memo`s.
/MSG MEMOSERV SEND nick message
ie. /msg memoserv send Johndory Hello mate, I'm having a good day. cya about. Mike
This Send's the Memo "Hello mate, I'm having a good day.
cya about. Mike" to the person with the Nick Johndory.
You don not need to put who a Memo is from as the recipient is informed of this by Memoserv.
/MSG MEMOSERV READ number
ie. /msg memoserv read 2
This lets you Read Memo number 2, from your Memo list.
/MSG MEMOSERV DEL number
ie. /msg memoserv del 4
This tell's MemoServ to delete Memo number 4 from the database.
/MSG MEMOSERV DEL ALL
This Deletes all the Memo`s that you have waiting to be read.
MemoServ also has a Help command. This is :-
/MSG MEMOSERV HELP
