You also have to make sure that your Host mask does not contain root, i.e. :-
nickname(root@dialup12-24.netcomuk.co.uk) if it does the server will not let you on.
Changing it to anything else is acceptable, i.e. :- nickname(you@dialup12-24.someISP.co.uk).
If you have problems getting on to the Purplewire.org network, or if you join and it says you are G-Lined or K-lined, with a message saying you're Banned. If either of these are the case please follow the K-Lined /G-Lined link for more information.
